Q. I just installed yProxy, I've shut down my newsreader and restarted it, and I'm sure I have yProxy configured correctly, but my yEncoded messages are still scrambled. What am I doing wrong?
yProxy only decodes messages real-time. In other words, it only decodes messages as you download them through yProxy. Any messages that you downloaded prior to installing yProxy won't be decoded. You may either decode these messages with an external decoder, or you may clear your newsreader's cache, and re-download these messages through yProxy so that it can decode the messages for you.
